So I was recently asked to write a little bit about myself for my local magic club, so I can be included in their handbook.
Here is what I came up with.
Adams interest in magic started at an early age when he received his first magic book for Christmas,.He's been hooked ever since. He recalled walking along Granby Street with his mum sometime in the late 80s early 90s when he passed the grand hotel and there was a plaque on the door with the words welcome to the home of the Leicester magic circle inscribed on it. Adam knew from that day on that he wanted to become a member. Many years later he finally decided to audition but suffering from terrible nerves anxiety and depression sought help from fellow member Tony Brooks. After some fantastic advice, he became a member in March 2011 and says that joining the Leicester magic circle has helped him hugely. Adam has now published a book on magic judged magic competitions lectured and also helps other performers who struggle with anxiety and depression. Adam now spends his time performing as a full-time professional Magician. In June 2019 Adam was voted in by members as the Chairman of the Leicester magic circle. Adam says it is one of the highlights of his magical career and is extremely proud to be a member of this fantastic club, and is grateful to all members for there help support and guidance. He believes strongly that our members make us one of the friendliest and talented magic clubs in the UK.
